Praise God!

It has been such a rollercoaster!
I have been in the hospital for 32 days... Today one month after I got here by the Grace of God they found me a heart. Yesterday they told me they had to send me home. They couldn't get me back to the top of the list after the district dropped me. They were going to have a hikmen line put in so I could be on my IV medication at home. I saw my doctor in the hallway while waiting for it and gave him a bad time about it. While I was getting the line they got the offer! So instead of going home tomorrow morning I am having a heart transplant. How incredible! I cried all day yesterday, my nurse Michelle says I was grieving of a loss. It is so true. When the doctors came in to tell me I was in getting my line put in. Michelle then paged them when I got back because they had told her what was going on and she just couldnt keep the secret. They came back and into my room and stated that they had news. After everything last night I was expecting the worse and asked them to just tell me. Then they told me it was good news and I just stared at them. I was in such shock. I then cried from relief, excitement, happiness etc.
Dan was supposed to be driving up after work so i would have a ride when leaving the hospital but I texted him saying he had to leave immediately. I went to call him after the doctors walked out but a tech came in to talk my vitals so i had to practically hang up on him. I kept saying I would call him back but he kept asking what was wrong. I had to say ill call you back they need my vitals and I hung up! After my vitals I called him back and told him.
Then I called my mom. She was at work and I told her I needed her to go outside and call me immediately. She said she had to find someone to cover. I told her it was important and she had to do it. She called me back a few minutes later.. She just kept asking "really?"
Then I called my dad. We are all so excited and so shocked. I was supposed to be going home. I am a 1B it was supposed to be a few months. God is definitely with me. I was so angry last night and bitter feeling as I had wasted a month of my life... but God showed me it was all worth it.

Thank you God for this wonderful chance at a new healthier life!
